As a user in GoContractor you can change your email address in the event you have changes to your email or the projects you access. We recommend having one account for all projects you work on so you do not have to manage multiple emails and passwords if possible.

Be sure you are logging in to the account where you want to update your email. There are a few reasons why you may want to change your email:

  • You have projects under two separate email addresses and logins and would like to centralize all your access to projects under one email and password.

  • Your email changed in some way but you still have access to both accounts in GoContractor. It's important you have access to the GoContractor accounts for both email addresses at the time the change is made.

In order to change your email address, you must log in to your existing account under the email address you would like to change and edit your profile setting.

In the example below a user is changing [email protected] (logged-in) -> [email protected]

To do so please go to:

  1. > Log-in

  2. In the top right corner of the screen click the drop-down arrow.

  3. Click My Settings > Below your profile email click + Change Email

  4. Enter the new email address

  5. Click Send Confirmation


Verifying Your Email

Updating your email will send you a new confirmation email and ask you to verify the email change. This email will go to the new email address for confirmation and you will be logged in to GoContractor under this new email address.


Important: For compliance and security only the logged-in user can change their own email. Admins can not change emails for other users. If there is an issue with access or a typo for new users.
