Subcontractor invitations are used by parent companies to add another company to their platform. There are two options, one for new subcontractors that have not used the GoContractor system before and for subcontractors that are already on the platform.
Select the “Invitations” tab on the left-hand side of the GoContractor page
Click on “Sent” from the drop-down menu from here then select “+ Invitations”
You can now do one of two things, firstly to invite a new subcontractor that has not used the GoContractor system before. Select “Enter an email to invite a new subcontractor” and enter an email address as the prompt suggests.
You then chose your worker group.
Next, choose an Invitation code, this code can be anything you want however it can not repeat. I would advise using something relative to the company name.
You can then choose how many workers they can provide to you. This can be a specific number or an unlimited amount.
The next page outlines the details of the invitation to review before you select “Send” that emails the new main subcontractor contact.
If successful “Invitation sent!” will appear on the bottom left-hand side of the screen and should be in the new subcontractor's main contact email inbox.
The subcontractor did not get the email:
You may want to review our article on "Email Notifications" to confirm the emails are not going to spam and the correct spelling is provided.
In many cases, we see internal email provides @companyname.com addresses that may block GoContrctor emails for one reason or another.
In this case, you may share the link to the Project with the subcontractor by following steps 1-2 above.
Search for the project you just created and click on it.
You will see a URL at the bottom of the screen titled: Link to Share
Send this link to the user directly from a known email address and they can register and access GoContractor.
